Lutheran Schools Week Thank you to the teachers for their hard work in making this a great week. Thank you to all the parents who showed love to their children and to the school by participating. God certainly has blessed us all through this Ministry.
Open House Our first ever day time open house will be held on Tuesday, March 9th from 1–3. Later that night we will continue the process from 7-9. Pray that all the flyers and PR will bring families looking for good Christ-centered education.
Re-Registration If you have not re-registered, please do so as soon as possible or at least let me know of your intent. Staffing, book orders, classroom materials and many other things are decided based on the re-enrollment figures. You may contact me any way you choose-- email, a note sent in with your child addressed to me, or just stop in and let me know.
New Mission Project We are beginning to take collections in chapel for a school that is being built in Liberia, 90 miles from Monrovia. It will coast $10,000 to complete the school so over 150 students will have a place to be educated and also learn about Jesus and His forgiving love. We are joining with all the other Lutheran schools in Maryland to make this school a reality.
Report Cards Look for the report cards on March 12th.
Standardized Testing At the end of this month the students will be taking a battery of tests. These tests help us to more clearly see your child’s scholastic development and how we can better help them. It will also help us evaluate how we can improve as a school. Encourage your student to do the best they can and not to be frightened of them. The test can only help them.
