Friday Blue Notes
Blue Notes
Flea Market - Tomorrow is the big day!! Come one, come all. All hands on deck. It's show time. All cliches aside, I pray all goes well and God is glorified by all we do. It is already a blessing in the fact that we will all be working side by side for a common cause, His children. Let's show our guests how God's love can motivate us to love and serve others.
End of Year Field Trip - Fun was had by all. Three-D Shrek was a blast. I don't think I heard one "I'm bored" all day. The students were a joy to be around. All in all, it was a successful day. A big thank you goes to Martha for all the calling and arranging it took to pull it off. Start thinking about next year's trip.
Upcoming Dates

Tuesday June 8, Ice Cream Social for the students
Wednesday June 9, 12:30 dismissal
Thursday June 10, Last day of school year; 11:00 Closing Chapel and remembrance video of the school year, 12:30 dismissal
Re-enrollment Packets - Those who have paid the re-enrollment fee should have received material for 2010-2011 registration. Be sure to read them over and get all forms and payments in according to the instructions. If you need re-enrollment forms, pick them up at school any time.
Strong To The End - Teachers are working hard to keep focused to the end of school so we don't lose any more instruction time than we already have, with the snow and all. Please help them out by keeping an eye on the academics given up to the last day. Talk to your child about learning being an on going process and not just for school or tests. We also think that staying in dress code will keep the atmosphere more conducive to learning than relaxing the dress to the end.
Summer Learning - The computer is loaded with learning sites. If you want your child to be the best student they can be, keep them involved in learning over the summer. Assign one page of math, one page of spelling, one history event, each week. Take them to the library and pick out books for them to read to you; reading is so important. When traveling, make connection to their learning by having them read signs for you. You can add and subtract miles to destinations. You get the idea. Be safe and have a fun summer enjoying God's beautiful world. God's blessing as you make Jesus a part of your daily life for the summer as well.
